NETWORKING PROJECTS

I build networks,
break them, then fix them.

The best way I've found to actually learn networking is to get something working, then pull it apart until it breaks. This site documents what I've built along the way. Currently working in Cisco Packet Tracer.

Lab Builds & Network Projects

Hands-on environments built to simulate production-grade infrastructure. Each project is documented end-to-end.

🏢
ACTIVE
Enterprise Office Network

Built a small business network covering VLANs, trunking, inter-VLAN routing, DHCP, DNS, and ACLs. Includes full network documentation as part of the deliverable.

PLANNED
Enterprise Network Security

Secured a network using ACLs, network segmentation, port security, NAT, and least-privilege access policies. Focused on locking things down the right way, not just checking boxes.

Network Troubleshooting Lab

Started with a working network, then intentionally broke VLANs, routing, DHCP, DNS, and ACLs one at a time. The goal was diagnosing and fixing each issue from scratch, the way it happens in the real world.

Active Directory Enterprise Lab

Built a Windows domain environment with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, users, groups, and domain-joined workstations. Covers the identity and access side of enterprise IT.

AWS Cloud Networking Lab

Designed and deployed a cloud network on AWS using VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, internet gateways, and EC2 instances. Bridges the gap between on-prem networking and cloud infrastructure.

Who I Am

I'm a networking enthusiast who believes the best way to actually understand this stuff is to build it yourself. Labs, configs, troubleshooting scenarios — the kind of knowledge that sticks when you've broken something and had to fix it.

Most of my current work is in Cisco Packet Tracer, working through realistic topologies that cover routing, switching, VLANs, and security. Everything on this site is something I built myself.

Working toward my CCNA and expanding into network security and automation over time.
